Instead, they only get a broader approximation\u2014such as your neighborhood or general area. This means your carrier can still provide connectivity services without knowing your precise whereabouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No Impact on Performance or Safety<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple emphasizes that this setting does <strong>not<\/strong> affect:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Signal strength or network performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Call quality or mobile data speeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emergency services location accuracy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emergency responders will continue to receive precise location data when required, ensuring that critical safety features remain intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy Without Compromise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The feature only applies to location data shared with carriers during normal operation.
